I am currently studying for May 2008's Exam MLC and I am using Broverman's study manual. I looove it!! I have a very very small background in life contingencies and this manual really breaks it down into simple terms. It's also a lot of small sections so you are only learning 1 or 2 concepts at a time...which I like a lot.
Previously I had tried Ramanathan's online course and text. It was very good and he was extremely helpful, but the class and text were way too advanced for me. There were only about 12 or so sections (compared to Broverman's 30 something), so it was too much for me to try to learn at once...it got too confusing. However, if you have a background in life contingencies, it may work well for you because it was a good course and text...just not for me.
I am also attending Broverman's live seminar in April because I heard that going to a seminar for MLC is a very very very good idea.
Anyone else preparing for MLC and have any tips??
